Dendi on the penalty system in Dota 2: “You play with ruiners like this guy, and nobody cares.”

Professional player Danil “Dendi” Ishutin complained during a stream about the lack of penalties for players who ruin the game in Dota 2.
This is what Dota looks like right now. You play with ruiners like this guy, and nobody cares. In League of Legends, he’d get banned after the game and wouldn’t be able to play ranked matches for at least a week. But this is Dota—nobody here gives a damn. And if you start complaining that he’s acting this way—going AFK and ruining the game—people will say, “Don’t cry, Dondo, pull yourself together!”
Earlier, OG co-founder Sebastian “Ceb” Debs relayed Valve’s position, as explained to him by company representatives: “They’ve always told me and others that they aren’t an esports company and never will be.”
