DM on patch 7.41d: “Play what you’ve been playing, and if you want to add something, add WK—he’s a good hero.”
Team Yandex offlaner Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin recorded a video message on Telegram in which he commented on the release of Patch 7.41d in Dota 2.
Hey, guys! A few words about the patch. It’s another round of +1, −1 changes. The most important thing, I guess, is that they nerfed Timbersaw pretty hard, especially in the early game. They nerfed Pangolier’s laning phase again because they removed some armor and slightly reduced his agility. Minor changes to Axe. In short, it’s all a wash. The heroes are just as strong as before.
As for buffs, the most significant one is probably WK. WK got a major buff; he now has more lane sustain thanks to his lifesteal, and two extra damage points never hurt. Play whatever you’ve been playing, but if you want to add a hero, add WK—he’s a good pick.
Patch 7.41d was released in Dota 2 last night. The developers made a number of balance changes affecting many heroes and items. Valve also updated the “Quartermaster’s Curiosities” season and fixed some bugs.
