Dota 2 has fixed bugs involving Monkey King, Techies, and several other heroes

Team Spirit analyst Mark “sikle” Lerman listed on Telegram the bugs that the Dota 2 developers have recently fixed.

Another batch of bugs has been fixed, which they’ll tell you about later. For some reason, not everything that was reported was fixed this time either.
- Wildwing Ripper wasn’t granting the Toughness Aura (+3 armor) to allies. It didn’t work on neutral creeps he was allied with, nor if he ate or tamed a creep, because it was treated as a passive ability.
- Monkey King could use Changing of the Guard while under the effect of an enemy taunt, such as Berserker’s Call. To address this, the line `DOTA_ABILITY_BEHAVIOR_IGNORE_PSEUDO_QUEUE` was removed, which may cause new bugs if a hero is caught off guard and attempts to cast their ultimate.
- No one could target or attack Techie’s M.A.D. at all if the Swine Arsenal cosmetic item was equipped in the Sticky Bomb ability slot.
- Primal Beast could use Onslaught twice if he queued a forced movement ability during his ultimate. This was exploited with Tumbler’s Toy or Force Staff.
- Primal Beast could lock in the increased radius of Gem’s effect by purchasing items that increased the radius and immediately selling them.
- Necrophos received stacks from Reaper’s Scythe as if he had killed a hero when he killed an illusion.
- Hoodwink’s Bushwack dealt 20% less damage at level 1 because one tick was server-dependent.
- For Kunkka, the selected talent “Tidebringer slows by 60% for 1 sec.” triggered on every attack if Battle Fury was purchased.
- Muerta could not use Fiend’s Gate while in her ultimate.
- Warlock, with the talent “+8 attack speed from Upheaval on allies” selected, would spawn imps when those allies died.
- Lina would charge Fiery Soul stacks (if she already had at least 1) from Maelstrom’s procs while under the effect of the Croak of Genius buff.
- Greater Bash no longer grants 175 additional vision when knocking an enemy back.
- Aghanim’s Blessing, which is located at the base, is no longer automatically consumed if you have Aghanim’s Scepter in your inventory and drop a Shard from the Torturer. However, they fixed it so poorly that it created another bug, which I’ll discuss later.
- Phantom Lancer no longer blocks the camp if his illusion with the Shard dies there (this was already a bug; they’re fixing it for the second time).
- Oracle could remove Repel with the “Fortune’s End dispels permanently” talent selected.
- Arc Warden’s clone did not receive stat bonuses from Ironwood Nut. This was also fixed poorly—the hero himself receives the stats, but neither the hero nor the clone gains HP/MP from them.
- A Spirit Bear that was under the effect of Vampiric Spirit (from the Wraith King’s Aghanim’s Scepter) and was summoned again no longer dies, as the buff is removed.
- Morphling no longer shrinks by -20% if he heavily invests in Agility. The maximum model size when investing in Strength has been reduced: +40% [→] +20%.
- Jakiro’s ALT tooltip for his innate ability, Double Trouble, now specifies that the second attack ignores damage block. <...>
The “Dark Carnival” event has already begun in Dota 2. It is divided into three chapters; the second will be released on July 10, and the third two weeks later. As part of the event, players earn tickets by playing regular matches, which can be spent to progress through the Dark Carnival storyline.
