Dota 2 Update from August 25, 2026: Localization
On the evening of August 25, a minor update was released for Dota 2, in which the developers improved the game’s localization.
List of Changes
- Changes were made to server-related code.
- Translations for several languages, including Russian, have been updated.
The update size was 49.1 MB.
Previously, Valve made changes to the animations of cosmetic items: Windranger’s Sylvan Vedette of the Crimson Witness and Puck’s Merry Wanderer’s Brush of the Crimson Witness. These items are included in the Treasure of the Crimson Witness 2026, which was awarded to randomly selected attendees of The International 2026 every time first blood was drawn in tournament matches.
