Streamers Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov and Timur “Ahilles” Kulmukhambetov discussed BetBoom Team’s current roster and its issues during a live stream. The clip was posted on the LEGENDWP Telegram channel.
dyrachyo: I’m curious about BB: what’s next for Vitalich [Save-] in the mid lane, because it’s unusual to see him play like that.
Ahilles: I watched a couple of Vitali’s public streams in mid. Well, let’s put it this way: it’ll be hard for them to compete for the top spots. I think that, overall, they could make it into the top 4 or top 5 based on their base performance—in theory, anyway.
dyrachyo: Well, they’d sometimes make it even with Dan. Seriously, though, I don’t know if they’ll be able to match those same results even with Vitalich. It seems pretty decent to me.
Ahilles: Let’s be honest, that would be a success. It’s just, you know, a temporary… The word is a bit harsh—“stopgap,” yeah. But, let’s put it this way, a temporary solution to give it a try, so Danok can get some rest, and all that.
dyrachyo: I don’t know. But seriously, it seems to me that just as they didn’t have a clear-cut leader before, they still don’t. And that’s their problem. I just don’t know—they don’t have anyone who can take charge…
Ahilles: They got rid of him, didn’t they?
dyrachyo: Nightfall? Yeah, that’s not quite it. He can give everyone a hard time, but that’s *** [nonsense]. Here’s someone who can say at the right moment, “Guys…”—well, you know, loud and clear. Loud and clear. …> Spirit has Yatoro, who’ll take [responsibility], but BetBoom Team doesn’t have anyone. gpk doesn’t seem like a leader, MieRo’s just a soldier too, and so is Kiritych. There’s no one who’ll step up and say, “This is what we’re doing.” And that’s this roster’s weakness.
BetBoom Team failed to advance to the playoffs at BLAST SLAM VIII, losing to Team Yandex and OG in the group stage. For the team, this was their first tournament with Vitaly “Save-” Melnik as mid.
