EPL Masters III Preview: Format, Rosters, Schedule for Day 1
Today, October 18, the first matches of the EPL Masters III group stage will take place. The tournament format, participating team rosters, and today’s match schedule are detailed below.
Format
EPL Masters III is being held remotely from October 18 through November 5. In the group stage, participants are divided into two groups of six teams each, where they play against one another in a best-of-three series. A team earns three points for a 2-0 victory; for a 2-1 result, the points are split proportionally.
Only two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, where they will join four invited participants. The bracket features two tiers—in the lower tier, teams have no room for error. In the grand final, a team must win three maps; in all other series, two maps are required.
