Falcons won their match, while BetBoom and RE, as well as Xtreme and PR, played to draws on Day 3 of the EWC 2026 Dota 2 group stage

Team Falcons defeated GamerLegion, while BetBoom Team tied with Rune Eaters and Poor Rangers tied with Xtreme Gaming on the third day of the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2.

In the first game between Rune Eaters and BetBoom Team, the match started evenly, but RE opened the series with successful plays in Smoke of Deceit. BB Team took the second map, dominating their opponent from the very start.

In the matchup between Xtreme Gaming and Poor Rangers, the gold lead constantly shifted from one team to the other, but the Chinese team managed to close out the series with a 2-0 victory.

Team Falcons steadily built up their lead on each map and confidently defeated GamerLegion 2-0, closing out the final match of the day.

As a result, Team Falcons tops Group A, while BetBoom Team and Xtreme Gaming share second place, and GamerLegion and Rune Eaters are tied for third in the group stage.

Next up are the Group B matches: Nigma Galaxy vs. Team Liquid, L1GA TEAM vs. Aurora Gaming, and PlayTime vs. Level UP. The two teams with the worst records at the end of the group stage will be eliminated from the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2.
