Fishman on Team Liquid in Dota 2: “Nisha has been the strongest player on this roster for the past four years”

When they won The International, 33 was still on the team—as far as I understand, from a tactical standpoint, he was the decisive factor in that lineup. Boxi, as far as I know, is the voice of this team—in other words, Nisha isn’t the type to call the shots or tell everyone what to do; he’s more of an executor. So I’d tend to disagree, but from a gameplay perspective, well, yes, of course—as an executor, Nisha has been the strongest player on this roster for the past four years.

Because Team Yandex’s roster is simply stronger. There’s a big difference in the players, and here he came to his own tournament and swept the grand final 3-0. The strongest player on Team Liquid left, and they’ll have Malr1ne, who’s just as strong—though it’s not a given that he’ll be just as strong. Stas got married and went on a trip; it’s not a given that he’ll be the best mid laner on the planet—he’ll have to prove it all over again: whether he can be the best mid laner in this new chapter of his life. But we’ll see—we’ll be rooting for Stas. ATF joined Team Yandex, and they already have four strong performers, including two of the strongest supports, in my opinion, who are also very strong. A strong, consistent carry, and then there’s CHIRA_JUNIOR—simply a strong mid laner who, among all the players, I’d say might be the last one, but he does his job brilliantly, so why not?

Well, he’s already played for OG for a whole year—there are simply no offlaners; there’s no choice of players. Plus, it turns out they had a scandal in Peru—actually, across South America— the “322” scandal, and Wisper obviously wants to continue his career, wants to earn a salary, wants to travel to tournaments and compete, but it’s become very difficult with Spanish-speaking players.
