“I’ve been in matchmaking for 45 minutes—what a nightmare!”—the English-speaking community on the Dota 2 rating reset
The English-speaking Dota 2 community has taken to social media to react to the rank reset at the “Titan” tier in the game.
Former pro player Artur “Arteezy” Babaev complained about the matchmaking wait time:
I lost one game, now I don’t have Immortal Draft, and I’ve been in matchmaking for 45 minutes—what a nightmare!
LGD Gaming coach Igor “kaffs” Furtado joked about returning to the pro scene as a player:
My MMR is 7,100, and my players’ is around 9,300—maybe I’ll finally be able to come back as a player?
Former Team Nemesis coach Filipe Astini Ribeiro had this to say:
They finally did it. Come on, let’s go!
Earlier, Mira “Ephey” Riyad commented on the Dota 2 rating reset: “The best thing about this reset is that I don’t have to play Immortal Draft anymore. I have access to the player-blocking feature again. By the way, I lost 2,000 MMR.”
