Professional player Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, in an interview at the 2026 Games of the Future Dota 2 tournament, spoke about communication within the international PlayTime roster and lamented the frequent flights that keep him away from home for long periods of time.

On the second map against GLYPH

In one of the teamfights, they already had all their items; we could still have won, but I messed up Black Hole two or three times.

[Question: “Do you think it was specifically the Black Hole? It looked like the opponent’s saves helped them more.”]

Yes, but I could have cast a good Black Hole. I didn’t need to cast it right then; I should have waited for a better moment.

About Travel

I was in Brazil for a month, then another month in Serbia. After that, I managed to go home for five days, and then I flew to Paris for the EWC. Then I spent another five days at home, and now I’m in Kazakhstan. It’s pretty tough.

On communication at PlayTime during GotF 2026

Thanks to Wits—he’s the only one with decent English. During matches, he has to play and translate at the same time. He listens to Scofield or sometimes Elmisho, then translates into English for me and Abed; when Abed and I speak in English, he translates into Spanish for Scofield and Elmisho. Despite all that, he manages to stay focused on the game—he’s great!
