kaffs on the victory in the third map of the BLAST Slam VII Grand Final: “It looked bleak at the start, but we managed to come back.”

LGD Gaming coach Igor “kaffs” Furtado commented on the comeback victory after falling behind 0-2 in an interview before the fourth map of the BLAST Slam VII Grand Final.
On the victory on the third map
Everything came together. Yandex’s style is different from the rest, which is pretty cool. Respect to them. We didn’t have much time to prepare, so we’re adapting as the series goes on. They have so many heroes that we have to take bad matchups and just survive. We’ll see if we can survive this time.
On gaining momentum in the middle of the series
We have enough momentum. If we win, that’s exactly what we needed. The start looked bleak, but we managed to come back. Even I was running low on energy at one point due to fatigue, but now I’ve got momentum.
[Question: “Are we going to tie the series?”]
I hope so.
Team Yandex won the first map and reached match point after the second, but LGD Gaming managed to win the 52-minute third game. If LGD Gaming wins, it will bring South America its second-ever Tier 1 tournament title.
