KJ on TaiLung’s ban for “322”: “What else can you expect from a community that idolizes match-fixing?”
LGD Gaming support player Mateusz “KJ” Santos Jungles Diniz commented on his personal social media accounts on the suspension of the team’s mid laner, Santiago Gustavo “TaiLung” Olivos Agüero, for participating in fixed matches.
I’m sure there isn’t a single Dota player right now who isn’t disappointed. And me? I don’t even know how to explain it. I feel relieved that qualifying for TI is still a reality for us. Relieved that I was right in my convictions and believed in what I was sure of, even though it could have cost me a spot at TI.
But, when you think about it, what else can you expect from a community that idolizes fixed matches? A community that applauds those who organize them on KICK, giving them money and fame.
All of this is exactly what some young kid needs to see before he decides to become one of them. “322” happens all the time, and, unfortunately, it’s very hard to track such cases. After everything that’s happened, I can no longer call us lucky. All I can say is that I feel relieved.
Earlier, LGD Gaming mid laner Santiago Gustavo “TaiLung” Olivós Agüero spoke out about his suspension from The International 2026. The esports player stated that he does not consider it appropriate to publicly disclose the details of the situation and is waiting for an opportunity to discuss what happened with his attorney.
