
Level UP defeated Power Rangers on the first day of the group stage of EPL Masters II in Dota 2.
Level UP won the first game, but Power Rangers evened the series on the second map. In the decisive game, Nikolai “WoE” Ruban’s team secured victory in several key engagements and closed out the series.
Thus, Level UP earned its first victory in the group stage, while Power Rangers suffered its first loss.
EPL Masters II is taking place online from August 24 to September 10. The organizers are offering a prize pool of $100,000 among the sixteen teams—the champion will receive half of that amount. The winner of the previous tournament in the series was Natus Vincere.
