Liquid won its match in the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup, while the match between Nigma and L1GA TEAM ended in a draw.

Team Liquid defeated Level UP, while Aurora Gaming, Nigma Galaxy, L1GA TEAM, and PlayTime all drew on the second day of the 2026 Esports World Cup Dota 2 tournament.
Team Liquid controlled the pace of the match against Level UP throughout the first map, which allowed them to secure the victory. Liquid also dominated the second map.
L1GA TEAM crushed PlayTime on the first map, but the South American team managed to get revenge on the second, forcing a draw.
Aurora Gaming easily defeated Nigma Galaxy on the first map with a score of 41–19. The second match began with Nigma applying pressure, which allowed them to build a significant lead and secure the win.
As a result, Team Liquid, Nigma Galaxy, and Aurora Gaming lead Group B, while L1GA TEAM, PlayTime, and Level UP occupy the bottom three spots.
The Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 is taking place from July 7 to 19 in Paris. Team Spirit received a direct invite to the tournament as the defending champion; 12 teams qualified based on their ESL Pro Tour rankings; and another 11 teams advanced through regional qualifiers.
