During a Twitch stream, esports player Mark “mangekyou” Kharlamov explained how to join a professional team and shared his thoughts on the possible release date for Patch 7.42.

How to Join a Professional Team

Basically, if you want to join a team, you need to be ranked 1,500th. It also depends on your age, but if you want to join a team like “GazMyas,” you need to be ranked between 1,000th and 500th. The younger you are, the better. Look, if you’re 15, you might get invited to an elite “GazMyas” team, or to an academy like Team Spirit, Virtus.pro, PARIVISION, 1win Team, or some other academy. But if you’re *** [a lot] years old, you’ll need a high rank to get invited anywhere. You’ll need to be ranked 200–100 and make friends with someone in the public lobby. You need connections. Everything’s done through personal connections.

About Patch 7.42

I’d love to see it as soon as possible. Actually, I’d just like to see any patch at all. I don’t know when this [damn] patch is even scheduled. As I understand it, you can tell when the Dota 2 patch is coming based on the Deadlock patch.
