Miposhka commented on the tie with PARIVISION in the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup

Team Spirit’s Dota 2 coach, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, commented on the draw against PARIVISION in the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup on the team’s Telegram channel.
Hello, friends and fans! So, well, the series against PARIVISION is over. 1-1—unfortunately, this isn’t the most satisfying result for us. Only a 2-0 win would have secured first place for us, but in the end, we finished second. Now we’ll wait to find out who our opponent is so we can face them for a spot in the playoffs.
About the series: in the first game, we had an awesome draft. The guys played great—exactly as we’d planned, focusing on defense. Our opponents tried to overwhelm us, but we fought back a couple of times. And, to be honest, their draft was pretty questionable. All they could do was seize the initiative and push hard, but they got shut down a couple of times, and that was it.
In the second game, I think the draft turned out pretty cool too. It was pretty good and well-rounded, but the lanes didn’t quite go as planned, in my opinion. I mean, Axe and Rubick didn’t perform as well as expected. Naga and Phoenix definitely underperformed compared to expectations. And then there were a couple of fights—the key moment with Roshan didn’t go our way. Well, unfortunately, we lost. But we’re not giving up.
Today, Team Spirit tied with PARIVISION and secured second place in Group C of the 2026 Esports World Cup for Dota 2. Thanks to this result, the team advances to the knockout stage, where they’ll compete for a spot in the playoffs.
