Team Spirit coach Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov spoke in an interview at The International 2026 about his work with the team since transitioning to the coaching role.
[Has your approach to working with the team changed since transitioning from the support role to coaching?] Definitely yes. In terms of the draft itself, not much has changed—I used to put in a lot of preparatory work anyway. But now I try to coach our supports, since I played that position for a long time myself. I’m constantly trying to help them: I give them tips on how to place wards more effectively and how to handle various in-game situations. Plus, I watch a huge number of replays—both our matches and our opponents’ games—and look for mistakes to figure out where we need to adjust our approach. All in all, there’s really a lot of work. [How well are your supports picking up on these lessons?] I’d say slowly but surely. The main thing is that the process is moving forward.
Earlier, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov commented on Alexey “not me” Kosmyinin’s progress: “He’s adapting very quickly, and everyone is helping him with that. We believe in him and are simply helping him do what he wants to do.”
