Misha on PGL’s ban of TaiLung: “Dota 2 will die faster from ‘322’ than from a lack of updates”

Former OG Dota 2 coach Mikhail “Misha” Agatov commented on his personal Telegram channel on the suspension of LGD Gaming midlaner Santiago Gustavo “TaiLung” Olivós Agüero from participating in The International 2026 due to a violation of fair play principles.

The quote is reproduced with the source’s spelling and punctuation intact

TaiLung was banned for 322 for life.

WHAT???????

No, wait, IS THIS FOR REAL?

Anyway, a couple of days ago, someone told me there were a few 322ers at The International and named TaiLung and two other guys; I laughed right in the guy’s face and told him to shut up, you idiot.
(I can’t name names, or people will say I’m accusing them without proof—sorry. On the stream, when we’re calling out their games, I’ll drop a hint, and you’ll all get it. The code word is “swing.”)

But it turns out I’m the idiot with rose-colored glasses.

By the way, it seems like everything over there is completely saturated with shit—literally everything in Dota.

I don’t know what to do; it seems like Dota will die faster from trash players than from a lack of updates.

It’s just sad—they didn’t even catch all the worms, and I’m seriously streaming these games and being surprised at how messed up they are.

It’s a shame—the guy was talented and had a huge future ahead of him, but apparently he got an offer he couldn’t refuse.
