Nigma Galaxy, BetBoom Team, LGD Gaming, and PARIVISION emerged victorious on Day 1 of the group stage at The International 2026

Nigma Galaxy, BetBoom Team (BoomBoys), LGD Gaming, and PARIVISION (Team Vision) defeated OG, 1win Team (Iron Wing), Team Resilience, and Team Falcons, respectively, on the first day of the group stage at The International 2026.

Team Resilience took control of the first map against LGD Gaming and won by a wide margin in gold. The second match followed a similar pattern, but this time in LGD Gaming’s favor. On the decisive map, the teams traded the lead, but LGD secured the victory thanks to several well-executed team fights.

Nigma Galaxy took the lead at the 37-minute mark in their match against OG and carried the game to victory. The second game was controlled by OG, but Nigma Galaxy won a crucial team fight and turned the match around.

BetBoom Team and 1win Team traded crushing victories on the first and second maps. The third match was controlled by BB Team, allowing them to win easily.

PARIVISION nearly won the first map, but Team Falcons won several crucial team fights and managed to turn the match around. The second match was dominated by PARIVISION. The third map did not feature clear dominance by either team: it was unclear who would win until the very last moment, but thanks to smart map movements, PARIVISION pulled ahead and secured the victory.

Thus, BetBoom Team and PARIVISION advance to the next round with a 2-0 record, while 1win Team, Nigma Galaxy, LGD Gaming, and Team Falcons will continue with a 1-1 record, and Team Resilience and OG with a 0-2 record.

The group stage of The International 2026 is taking place from August 13 to 16 in Shanghai, China. Only eight of the 16 teams will advance to the playoffs to compete for a prize pool that has already surpassed last year’s.
