Team Liquid, Team Yandex, Aurora Gaming, and Team Spirit defeated Vici Gaming, LIGA TEAM (HULIGANI), GamerLegion, and Xtreme Gaming, respectively, on the first day of the group stage at The International 2026.

The first map between Team Liquid and Vici Gaming lasted 60 minutes without either team gaining a significant advantage throughout, but ultimately, Liquid managed to pull ahead and secure the victory. The second match was completely dominated by Team Liquid.

GamerLegion nearly won the first map against Aurora Gaming but failed to close out the game and ended up losing. The second match followed a similar pattern.

Team Yandex crushed LIGA TEAM on the first map with a score of 23–3. The second match started more evenly, but Yandex managed to seize the advantage and win without any trouble.

Team Spirit took control of the map from the very start in their match against Xtreme Gaming and won with ease. The second match began with pressure from the Chinese team, but Team Spirit managed to turn the tide and secure the victory.

Thus, Team Liquid, Team Yandex, Aurora Gaming, and Team Spirit advance to the next round with a 1-0 record, while Vici Gaming, LIGA TEAM, GamerLegion, and Xtreme Gaming are at 0-1.
