Niu on The International 2026: “We’ll do our very best to win on our home turf.”

Team Resilience offlaner Li “Niu” Kongbo, in an interview at the 2026 Games of the Future, commented on being named the best player of the match against Yellow Submarine in the decisive playoff round, spoke about their opponents, and shared his expectations for the team’s performance at the upcoming The International 2026.
On being named the best player of the match against Yellow Submarine
The opponents’ picks made the game easier for me, and the laning phase was comfortable. However, in the mid-game, I didn’t coordinate well with my teammates and messed up a couple of plays, and I could have played better in the late game as well. Despite the mistakes we made, we managed to pull it together in the end. To be honest, it’s all because the enemy heroes turned out to be very favorable for me. I think I gained a significant advantage.
About Yellow Submarine
They’re pretty young, and the future definitely belongs to them, so I wish them the best of luck. But they need to keep training and playing hard.
On The International 2026
We’ll do our absolute best to win on our home turf—it’s very important to us.
Team Resilience defeated Yellow Submarine 2–1 in the decisive round of the Games of the Future 2026 Dota 2 tournament and advanced to the quarterfinals, where they’ll face Xtreme Gaming today following the GLYPH vs. PlayTime match.
