I’d like to share my thoughts on the recent update. Overall, it didn’t really affect gameplay or the heroes much; all meta heroes will remain meta, they’ve just become a bit weaker
But they did reset the ratings, which might make matchmaking more interesting and competitive again. They also added a compendium, bundles—including ours (no double meaning intended)—and commentator quotes
As far as I’m concerned, there’s a lot of pretty interesting stuff—just look at the lines from Saberlight or Roger.
Earlier, Team Yandex player Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin commented on Dota 2 Patch 7.41e, which was released alongside the “Summer Cleanup”: “Overall, it’s just awesome! A bunch of useful nerfs to annoying heroes; they barely touched the offlane role.”
