The first matches of the South American closed qualifiers for The International 2026 begin today. The qualifier format, team rosters, and Day 1 schedule are detailed below.
Format
Qualifiers will take place from June 15 to 19. Ten participating teams will compete for a single slot at The International 2026. The qualifiers will be a double-elimination tournament, in which each team will have one more chance after a loss before being eliminated. Lindorfitos, x5 Gaming, Estar Backs, and Rising Rage will start in the first round of the upper bracket, while the rest will begin in the quarterfinals.
