RAMZES on Virtus.pro: “They’re like unreal bots. Everyone knows that.”

Former esports player Roman “RAMZES” Kushnarev spoke during a live stream on Twitch about Virtus.pro’s current form and shared his thoughts on matches against the strongest teams.
On Virtus.pro
[If VP doesn’t make it through qualifiers, will they disband?] To be honest, I think VP is already a disband. They’re just unreal bots. Everyone understands that, even the people on the VP roster. And even the guys who pay them understand it. Well, what can you do? Let them just finish out the season, *** [damn it], however they can—I don’t know.
On my attitude toward tough matches
I didn’t care who I played against. Why sit there scared shitless, *** [what’s the point]? It’s thinking that some high-skill guys are sitting there against you, hype players. That’s totally absurd. Then there’s no point in even logging in if you’re afraid of someone out there.
On Valve’s work on the game
[People are unhappy with some kind of overpowered hero every year, but in fact, there were such heroes in classic Dota too.] When there were heroes like that in classic Dota, they’d be patched within a couple of weeks, if not within 10 days. If a hero was overpowered, they’d fix him right away in Dota. They tried, at least. <...> For example, when Largo came out, nobody knew how to counter him—he was an overpowered hero.
Virtus.pro defeated Inner Circle x Insanity in the upper bracket of the closed qualifier for The International 2026 in Europe—the team is now just two wins away from securing a slot in the main tournament of the year. The team’s next match will take place tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. Moscow time.
