Former professional player Samuel “Sammyboy” Anderson commented on a post on X by Filipe “Astini” Astini Ribeiro on the suspension of Santiago Gustavo “TaiLung” Olivares Agüero from professional Dota 2 matches.
If something like this happened in real-world sports, you’d be arrested for it. Just think about it. In the U.S., you could get at least five years in prison for something like that. Although, maybe TaiLung could just get those 5 years and leave it at that, because I really think he was influenced by intimidation and this culture with its hidden mafia. I’ve dealt with unpleasant people on my own teams, too.
Earlier, LGD Gaming offlaner Adrián “Wisper” Céspedes Dobles spoke on the La Sopa podcast about his feelings toward Santiago Gustavo “TaiLung” Olivós Agüero following his suspension from the tournament: “I’m really sorry about what happened to him. I hope he’ll be able to file an appeal somehow.”
