...> I didn’t have the energy to write a blog post yesterday, so today I’m covering two days’ worth.
Our training schedule had been planned down to the minute since yesterday morning, so we arranged a shuttle to the arena for 10 a.m. in advance.
At the appointed time, many players gathered at the hotel entrance, but there were no shuttles. We decided to call an Uber. Everything would have been fine, but after the ride, we discovered that Zayats had left his phone in the taxi.
What followed were two days of back-and-forth trying to locate and retrieve the phone; we managed to resolve the issue, and today the phone was returned to its owner.
The next morning, the shuttle issue was resolved, and we arrived on time.
As for the matches: our group is tough; we made good progress against PlayTime—though we could have done better—and things didn’t go our way against Aurora.
I think it’s clear to everyone that our match against Team Liquid will likely be the key one for us in this group stage, and it’s good that it’s not in the early days.
Tonight we were calmly preparing for the match, but all the teams were urgently evacuated to the hotel due to the 2026 World Cup match between France and Morocco. So we’re resting and recharging. Tomorrow is an important day.
L1GA TEAM is in 5th place in Group B with one draw and two losses. Today, the team will face Team Liquid at 2:30 p.m. Moscow time. The group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup for Dota 2 runs from July 7 to 12.
