StrangeR spoke about L1GA TEAM’s upcoming arrival at The International 2026 in Shanghai

L1GA TEAM’s sports director, Alexander “StrangeR” Solomonov, announced on his personal Telegram channel that the team will soon arrive at the venue for The International 2026 and shared their plans for preparing for the tournament’s group stage.
Dear friends, after spending a day adjusting to jet lag and getting used to life in Beijing, we safely boarded a high-speed train and are now heading to Shanghai, since there are still no direct flights there. Yeah, we had to go on a little adventure to retrieve our luggage from the connecting flight. Well, thank goodness everything’s fine, and now I’m hoping that in about—what, 5 hours?—we’ll be there. PGL is supposed to meet us, and we’ll check into the hotel this evening. Well, we’ll probably just chill today, and tomorrow we’ll start full-fledged preparations for the group stage. By the way, for those who haven’t seen it yet, the schedule and our group have already been announced—you can check out who we’re playing against.
Earlier, flights were canceled in Shanghai and the eastern regions of the People’s Republic of China due to a typhoon, which made it much harder for us to get to The International 2026. The main tournament of the year will begin on August 13.
