This is my 5th The International and the 3rd team I’ve been with at the event.
We’re finally in Shanghai and already at the hotel; the trip here wasn’t the fastest, but it was interesting)
It’s unlikely that anyone from Air China is reading this, but I want to thank the airline for promptly arranging a hotel and meals in Beijing—the hotel turned out to be quite decent, and everyone was given their own room.
Now, back to our current situation. The hotel where the players and staff are staying during TI is quite high-end; the only downside is that they’ve put us in double rooms, but otherwise everything’s great so far.
Our practice room is on the same floor as our rooms, which is very convenient. After we arrived, almost everyone went to sleep; it’s humid and stuffy outside even at night after the typhoon.
So for now, we’re resting, and tomorrow we’ll start training.
L1GA TEAM, which is competing at The International 2026 under the tag HULIGANI, will face Team Yandex on August 13 at 8:00 a.m. Moscow time in the first round of the group stage of the year’s main tournament. As of this writing, the tournament’s prize pool stands at $2,829,781.
