Team Liquid has been eliminated from BLAST Slam VII

Following their match against LGD Gaming, Team Liquid became the first team to be eliminated from BLAST Slam VII in the playoffs.
The laning phase in the first game didn’t reveal a clear winner, but LGD began to gain the upper hand in the mid-game. By the 30-minute mark, the South American team had built a 20,000-gold lead and soon secured the victory, with Yuma Langle finishing the map with a 9/0/7 score on Drow Ranger. On the second map, “The Horses” played better on the lanes, but LGD eventually pulled ahead again and controlled the game.
Liquid finished in 5th–6th place, for which the players will receive $40,000 and the club $15,000. LGD will face the winner of the Team Falcons vs. Aurora Gaming match tomorrow at 5:00 PM Moscow time.
The Slam VII playoffs are taking place from June 4 to 7 at the BLAST studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. The participants in the final stage will compete for the lion’s share of the $1 million prize pool. Five teams remain in the competition.
