Team Yandex defeated Aurora Gaming in the BLAST Slam VII playoffs

Team Yandex emerged victorious in their match against Aurora Gaming with a score of 2-0 on the first day of the BLAST Slam VII playoffs.
For most of the first game, Aurora Gaming held the advantage, but Alexander “Accell” Litvinenko’s squad managed to even the score twice—the second time allowing the team to secure the win. On the second map, Aurora performed better on the lanes and took the lead in the mid-game, but starting at the 25-minute mark, Martin “Saksa” Sazdov’s team seized the lead. At the 43-minute mark, Yandex destroyed their opponent’s first barracks, and a few minutes later built a Mega Creep, quickly ending the game in their favor.
As a result, Aurora dropped to the lower bracket, where they will continue their participation in the tournament. Yandex will face LGD Gaming today at 7:00 PM Moscow time.
The BLAST Slam VII playoffs are taking place in the Danish capital from June 4 to 7. At the end of the tournament, participants will split a $1 million prize pool, which is divided into two parts—75% for the players and 25% for the clubs.
