Team Yandex has a 22.7% chance of winning TI 2026 — Noxville published the results of a Monte Carlo simulation

Team Liquid’s Technical Director Ben “Noxville” Stenhuysen shared the results of a Monte Carlo simulation of The International 2026 on his personal X page.
Over the weekend, I revived my old website with Monte Carlo simulations for TI 2026. There’s only one prediction there so far, but I’ll be adding more soon!
The rankings for most teams in the open qualifiers are pretty murky, and the current standings are as of yesterday evening.
Team Yandex has the highest chance of winning—it became champion in 22.7% of simulations and made the top 8 in 84.6% of cases. Team Vision is in 2nd place, and Aurora Gaming is in 3rd; they took the Aegis in 17.4% and 14.7% of scenarios, respectively.

The International 2026 will take place from August 13 to 23 in Shanghai, China. Sixteen teams, nine of which will qualify through regional qualifiers, will compete for the Aegis of Champions.
