The prize pool for The International 2026 reached $2.48 million in five days of support pack sales
The prize pool for The International 2026 has reached $2,488,842 five days after the release of support packs for participants and studio staff.
By comparison, in 2025, the prize pool had reached $2,487,638 only by the fourth day of the tournament. This year, the prize pool grew by $500,000 in just the first 24 hours after the bundles went on sale, and exceeded $2.26 million two days later.
Initially, Valve added $1,600,000 to The International 2026 prize pool. Last year, the developers raised the percentage of sales allocated to the prize pool from 25% to 30%—this year, it remained at the same level.
