The Ukrainian Esports Federation has suspended 27 players from its tournaments for playing against representatives of the Russian Federation

The Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) has added 27 Ukrainian Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 players to a public list of individuals barred from participating in local competitions. The reason for the suspension was “participation in official matches on the same team as Russian players.”
Nine players were added to the CS2 list, including former Natus Vincere sniper Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev, Team Spirit rifler Miroslav “zont1x” Plakhotya, as well as Vsevolod “s-chilla” Shchurov, Oleg “baz” Kulich, Vitaly “sFade8” Marushka, Daniil “Sdaim” Tupov, and others.
For the same reason, 18 Dota 2 players were added to the registry, including two-time The International champions Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov, PARIVISION midlaner Vladimir “No[o]ne-” Minenko, as well as Artem “lorenof” Melnik, Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey, Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok, and others.
The organization’s restrictions will remain in effect until the end of June 2027.
Earlier, Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, as part of Team Spirit, successfully qualified for the main tournament of the year—The International 2026—while Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev is currently with BC.Game Esports alongside Denis “electroNic” Sharipov.
