To be honest, it feels like I didn’t spend that much time at Natus Vincere. There are things you only come to understand years after leaving the team—and that the public only finds out about later. Maybe in five years I’ll give an in-depth interview, but right now I’m not ready to talk with you about the problems we had within the team or the reasons why I left the roster. It was my decision, and, let’s just say, we’ll leave it at that for now.

Of course, my goal is to return to Tier 1. I’m not sure if I’m ready to play on the Tier 2 scene, though it depends on what that entails. If, for example, we’re talking about a Tier 2 team that’s incredibly motivated and wants to win a Major in the future, and I see that everyone on the team is working 12 hours a day, then yes, why not?

There’s a specific reason why people are on Tier 2 teams, and it’s not because they’re unlucky or underpaid. I believe that absolutely every esports player is capable of rising to Tier 1. The people who are destined to win a Major will do so. And those whose fate isn’t the same will sometimes take home trophies, because it’s a team game.
