Ayri reported that silent reloading does not work on all weapons in CS2

Professional player Pavel “Ayri” Aleksandrovsky tested silent reloading in Counter-Strike 2 and discovered that the new mechanic isn’t available for all weapons. He shared this on his personal Telegram channel.

As it turns out, silent reloading does not work on weapons such as the M249, MAG-7, R8 Revolver, and MP5-SD.

Earlier, a user named Aaron demonstrated a way to speed up silent reloading. To do this, you need to press the R key twice and then hold it down. This method reduces the silent portion of the reload by approximately 0.3 seconds.
