Vici Gaming defeated Amaru Gaming, and PlayTime defeated Team Resilience in the Games of the Future 2026 Dota 2 group stage

Vici Gaming and PlayTime emerged victorious in their matches against Amaru Gaming and Team Resilience, respectively, on the first day of the group stage of the 2026 Games of the Future Dota 2 tournament.
Amaru Gaming won the first map, but in the second game, Go “shiro” Xuan’s team evened the series. On the decisive map, Vici Gaming secured the series victory after winning several crucial team fights.
PlayTime defeated Midas Club, dominating both maps and leaving their opponent no chance to turn the series around.
Thus, Vici Gaming and PlayTime secured their first wins, while Amaru Gaming and Team Resilience suffered their first losses.
The Games of the Future 2026 Dota 2 Championship is taking place from July 31 to August 5 in Astana, Kazakhstan. Sixteen teams are competing for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
