Vici Gaming defeated OG in the group stage of 1win Essence II in Dota 2. The match ended with a score of 2-0.
On the first map, neither team was able to gain a significant advantage for a long time, but Vici Gaming ultimately prevailed. The second game started off similarly, but in the mid-game, OG took control and held the lead for a long time until VG managed to stage a comeback.
The outcome of this match determined the teams’ standings in Group B. As a result, Vici advanced to the upper bracket, while 1w Team and OG went to the lower bracket.
The 1win Essence II is being held remotely from July 30 to August 5. This time, the organizers quadrupled the prize pool to $200,000. As of now, eight teams representing various regions remain in the tournament.
