watson on ATF: “I like that he plays his heroes with a lot of confidence.”
Team Yandex’s carry, Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov, spoke about playing on Io and shared his thoughts on Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf in an interview at PGL Wallachia Season 9.
On playing Io
I think the hero is still very strong. We played him at The International; now he’s lost 10% damage on the Spirits talent. I think that’s normal, so the hero is good.
On playing with ATF
I like that he plays his heroes with a lot of confidence, and we trust him, too. He’s a The International champion and plays very well. I’ve been facing him in the lane my whole life—it’s great that he’s on our team.
On whether he enjoys watching his enemies suffer from ATF, just as he used to
First of all, I didn’t struggle against him. I taught him how to lane. And yes, it’s great to see that enemies don’t teleport to me because he’s dominating them in the lane.
