Zero Tenacity defeated PuckChamp at EPL Masters II in Dota 2

Zero Tenacity proved stronger than PuckChamp in the group stage of the EPL Masters II Dota 2 tournament. The match ended with a score of 2-0.

On the first map, Z10 killed more of their opponents’ heroes, though for a long time they were unable to convert this into a significant economic advantage; the game ended at the 47-minute mark with a score of 34–19. On the second map, Damir “Mitch” Škaričić’s team took the lead as early as the mid-game and carried the match to victory.

Thanks to this result, Z10 moved up in the standings, while PC found itself at the bottom after the loss. Both teams have played only their first match in the group stage; they still have a chance to advance to the playoffs and will continue their campaign tomorrow.

EPL Masters II is being held remotely from August 24 through September 10. The tournament’s prize pool is $100,000—half of which will go to the champion. So far, three teams have been invited to the playoffs: HULIGANI, MOUZ, and Natus Vincere.
