PUBG Mobile features eight permanent maps in Classic mode. They differ in size, number of players, match duration, and combat conditions. Larger maps tend to favor vehicles and long-range weapons, while smaller ones are designed for fast-paced firefights. There are also unique maps in Metro Royale, Payload, Arena, and limited-time events. Additionally, players can create their own locations in “Wonderland” mode.
Eight maps are available in Classic mode: Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Karakin, Livik, Nusa, and Rondo. The largest maps measure 8x8 km, while the smallest is 1x1 km.
The developers regularly add limited-time modes, and there are thousands of user-created maps in the “World of Wonders” section.
| Map | Players | Size |
| Erangel | 100 | 8x8 |
| Miramar | 100 | 8x8 |
| Sanok | 100 | 4x4 |
| Weekends | 100 | 6x6 |
| Karakin | 64 | 2x2 |
| Livik | 52 | 2x2 |
| Nusa | 32 | 1x1 |
| Rondo | 100 | 8x8 |

Erangel is the first and most famous map in PUBG Mobile. It features large cities, small towns, fields, forests, and an island with the Sosnovka military base. The map is suitable for any playstyle: you can drop in at Pochinki for early skirmishes or choose a remote spot to gather gear in peace.

Miramar is a desert map measuring 8x8 km. Due to the open terrain, sniper rifles, scopes, and vehicles are particularly useful here. Most battles take place at medium and long ranges.

Sanok is covered in jungles and dense vegetation. The map measures 4x4 km, so you’ll encounter opponents more frequently than on Erangel or Miramar. Popular landing spots include Bootcamp, Paradise Resort, and the Ruins.

Vikendi combines snow-covered fields, cities, forests, and high ground. Its 6x6 km size makes it a middle ground between large and compact maps. Both long-range firefights and indoor battles occur here.

Karakin is a small desert map with destructible walls and underground tunnels. Some passages can be opened with explosives. Instead of the usual red zone, the map features a black zone capable of destroying buildings.

Livik was created specifically for the mobile version of PUBG. Matches here are shorter, and weapons and gear are more densely distributed. The map is ideal for players who don’t want to spend 25–30 minutes on a single match.

Nusa is the smallest map in Classic mode. Matches usually last about ten minutes, and combat begins almost immediately after landing. The map features many vertical surfaces, cable cars, and compact settlements.

Rondo is an 8x8 km map where modern cities blend with traditional Eastern architecture and natural landscapes. It features destructible objects, several aircraft routes, and EMI zones that temporarily disable electronic devices.
The Metro Royal map rotation changes with the seasons. The following locations have appeared in various chapters of the mode:
| Map | Features |
| Front Line | A starting map with relatively easy enemies and accessible gear |
| Old Blockade Zone | A more challenging location with valuable loot and underground areas |
| Foggy Port | A large map with multiple difficulty levels |
| Arctic Base | A snow-covered base with bosses, enclosed areas, and valuable loot |
Fighter jets do not appear in Classic mode, but rather in Payload on a modified version of Erangel. You can find them in the following locations:
Keep in mind that fighter jets spawn randomly.
Locked rooms and how to open them depend on the game mode:
Keys also appear randomly.
Open the mode selection menu and tap the download icon next to the map’s name. You’ll need free storage space on your phone to download it. Once downloaded, you can select the map when searching for a match.
If the map isn’t displayed, update the game and check the resource management section. Some modes and locations are only available during certain seasons.
