Queen’s Reputation in Genshin Impact — How to Unlock the Secret Orders of the Ice Palace
In Genshin Impact Update 7.1, the Empress’s Reputation—Secret Orders of the Ice Palace—was introduced. The Traveler becomes an advisor to the Cryo Archon and carries out her personal assignments. Completing these tasks rewards you with decor, a glider, a personalized map, and a weapon skin. Here’s how to unlock the system and receive new quests.
How to Unlock the Queen’s Reputation
To access it, you need Adventure Rank 18 and must have completed the Archon Quest “A White Night After a Long Sleep”—the third chapter of Volume 7, released in Patch 7.1.
After completing the storyline:
- Open Snezhna’s Adventure Log and go to the “Experience” section.
- Select “Secret Orders of the Ice Palace.” If “Training Cycle” is displayed, switch sections.
- Start the quest “Letter from the Polar Palace.”
- Read Spring’s invitation and head to meet the Queen.
- Complete the conversation at the palace to become her advisor and continue the chain of tasks.
You do not need to level up the “Training Cycle” to unlock the orders.
How to Read Spring’s Letter
Enable tracking for the “Letter from the Polar Palace” quest. On PC, press V; on a gamepad, use the left stick; and on a phone, tap the current objective below the mini-map. You don’t need to search for the letter among your regular inventory items. After reading it, an objective to go to the palace will appear.
Where to Find the Queen’s Quests
The orders menu can be accessed through the “Experience” section in Snezhna’s Adventure Journal. You can also select the Queen’s icon at the Polar Palace and click “View Secret Orders of the Ice Palace.”
Another way is to talk to State Secretary Chaika in the palace and select the dialogue option “Tell me about the Queen’s decree.” A blue Cryo Archon icon on the map means the quest is available; a black one means there are no new quests yet.
How to Increase the Queen’s Reputation
Progress through the chain of personal quests. There are six quests in the first chapter, including the introductory letter:
- “Letter from the Polar Palace”;
- “The Queen’s New Portrait”;
- “A Gathering at Court”;
- “A Gift for the Children”;
- “Winter Night. Well-Mannered Ladies. Tea Party”;
- “The Tsarina’s Chess Game I.”
The following quests unlock sequentially, with weekly updates. Fast-forwarding the in-game clock does not allow you to complete the entire chain in a single day.
The first chapter is available in Patch 7.1. The second and third chapters are part of the system’s ongoing progression, so it’s not possible to earn all the main rewards in this update.
Queen Reputation Rewards
- “Good Intentions” blueprint, “Gift in Honor of the Coronation” decor;
- “Wings of Stellar Frost” glider, “Royal-Style Roasted Fish” recipe;
- “Blade of Enlightenment” one-handed sword skin, “Icy Chill” personalized map.
Certain quests also grant leveling materials, including hero experience, holy oil, and talent books.
