Sirius was introduced to Brawl Stars in February 2026 as part of a special event, during which players could get him for free by winning matches or by opening special crates. That event has now ended, so the old methods no longer work.
Sirius is now classified as an “Ultra” rarity and can be unlocked with credits through the “Brawlers” section. Let’s take a look at how to get the character for free, whether you can buy him, and the fastest ways to earn the necessary resources.
After the August 2026 update, the Star Path was removed from the game. However, Credits haven’t gone anywhere: they’re still used to unlock new Brawlers, and all progress information is now found in the “Brawlers” section.
Credits automatically advance your account toward the next character of a specific rarity. Rarities unlock in the order set by the game, so you won’t always be able to save up for an Ultra character right away: you may first need to unlock a character of a different tier.

The main free method is to save up credits. Open the “Fighters” section and find Sirius there. If the character is available for unlocking on your account, the game will display your current progress and the number of credits required.
Sirius requires 5,500 credits. The credits you earn automatically count toward your current progress in unlocking fighters, so there’s no need to store them separately in your inventory and then spend them manually. If Sirius isn’t available for unlocking yet, you’ll first need to progress through the current sequence of characters. The easiest way to check your current progress is right in that same section.
There’s also a very rare alternative—the Ultra Chaos Drop. It offers a chance to get a random Ultra Fighter. According to Supercell’s official table, the probability of a random Ultra Fighter dropping from an Ultra Chaos Drop is 0.53%, so you shouldn’t count on getting Sirius this way.
You cannot directly obtain Sirius from regular Star Rewards. The fighters you get from them are at most of Legendary rarity. However, the rewards do include credits, which help you get closer to the next character faster.

You can obtain Sirius not only with credits but also by purchasing him directly for 999 crystals. To do this, open the “Fighters” section, find Sirius, and select the option to buy him with crystals. Unlike saving up 5,500 credits, you don’t have to wait for the progress bar to fill up in this case.
In addition, special offers featuring Sirius for real money periodically appear in the store. Their prices and contents vary. When the character was first released, bundles featuring him cost roughly between $20 and $30, so future offers may fall within this range, though there is no fixed price.
Thus, 999 crystals is the fastest permanent way to guarantee unlocking Sirius, while a limited-time store offer might be more cost-effective if the bundle includes additional resources or upgrades along with the fighter.

If you want to unlock Sirius for free, the main goal is to earn as many credits as possible from available sources.
First, check the Trophy Track. Credits are among the rewards for reaching new milestones, so sometimes you only need to earn a few more trophies to unlock the next reward.
The next consistent source is the Brawl Pass. Credits are among the rewards for progressing through the pass, so be sure to complete challenges regularly and earn experience.
Another source is Starr Prizes. They may contain credits, which means that even if Sirius himself doesn’t drop from a regular Starr, these rewards still speed up the process of obtaining him.
Credits can also be found in other limited-time events and rewards. For example, during Brawl-O-Ween 2026, they’re included in the Coffin Box reward table. So, during active events, be sure to check their contents and don’t miss out on free rewards.
The old method of winning with different characters is no longer relevant. During the Sirius release event, you could unlock it for free by winning once with each of the 99 fighters available at the time, and an additional box was awarded for winning with 50 different characters. That event has now ended.
