On the night of October 21, Valve added a new character to Deadlock—Nurse Harrow. She is the last of the six heroes announced in the “Sleepless City” update. Find all the information about her in Russian in our article.
Nurse Harrow is a respected figure in the Marble Hill ward for the possessed; she has dedicated her life to fighting the horrors of supernatural possession. She possesses a remarkable blend of compassion, sternness, and cold pragmatism: some patients call her a saint, while others call her a cruel overseer. It’s likely that both sides are right.
And although any sane person would wonder how and why Harrow keeps her patients’ pain in her own medical bag, no one would dispute the results of her treatment methods... no matter how cruel they may be.
The heroine’s weapon is “Code Blue.” It is a syringe and deals 39 damage per second. It has a rate of fire of 2.63, and each bullet deals 14.86 damage.
Nurse Harrow throws a jar of leeches, which attach themselves to enemies, deal periodic spiritual damage, and reduce the duration of buffs affecting them.
When the leeches finish feeding, Nurse Harrow can collect them, restoring health equal to the amount they drained and permanently increasing her health regeneration and rate of fire.
Upon death, 25% of accumulated leeches are lost.
Upgrades:
Nurse Harrow opens a vial and releases ghostly vapors onto herself or an ally, causing a surge of power followed by a decline.
“Ghost Surge”: While the effect lasts, all actions are accelerated, and all incoming damage is temporarily deferred, creating ghosts.
“Ghosts’ Downfall”: When the vapors’ effect ends, all actions are slowed, and remaining ghosts deal delayed damage with bonus damage.
Incoming healing removes ghosts first, preventing them from dealing damage.
Upgrades:
Nurse Harrow loads her weapon with a full magazine of syringes that heal allies. Dealing damage restores ability charges, and each leech collected gradually replenishes them.
Reloading consumes one charge and provides a new full magazine of syringes.
Unused syringes partially restore the ability’s charge.
Upgrades:
Nurse Harrow opens her bag and reveals the horrors she carries inside, dealing gradual Spirit damage to enemies in front of her. Enemies who look at her become more terrified and cannot use Stamina or movement abilities. When terror reaches its maximum, they flee in fear from Nurse Harrow.
Each leech collected increases the duration of the fear effect.
Enemies who turn away from Nurse Harrow take 50% damage unless they are under the effect of fear.
Upgrades:
Violetta was previously added to the game—she is armed with the “Creative Solution” brush weapon, which allows her to shoot at long range and deals 30 damage damage per bullet with a rate of fire of 1.54 shots per second.
