Dzhuki on the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang patch: “This update is kind of a letdown.”

Rune Eaters streamer David “Dzhuki” Vandakurov commented on the major update to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang via his Telegram channel. The player briefly analyzed the character changes in the mobile MOBA.

The quote is reproduced with the source’s spelling and punctuation intact

The update is kinda off, I don’t know.

I haven’t tested Argus, but I think he’s gotten stronger

Aulus has a good stun, and having a dash you can use anytime is great; plus, his passive activates after his skills, which seems handy.

They nerfed Pakito’s damage, so he won’t be able to one-shot tanks anymore, but I don’t think he’s become too much weaker

Alpha is cool, and I think he’ll actually work well against tanks thanks to the damage boost from his passive and the nice cooldown on his second skill

I didn’t quite get Kaditu.

Melissa feels like her damage has taken a hit; she’ll probably come out of the ban list, or maybe she’ll end up in the trash.

I don’t get Bruno, but it seems like he’s gotten stronger and will be playable, I think

Chichi’s damage has gone up, but I don’t know how good she’ll be in the meta—it might be a bit tough for her

I haven’t tested Masha yet, but it’s totally unclear—though she now has a dash, and she seems more fun to play

Edith finally got the ability to jump over walls with her ultimate and her second ability; I think she’ll be good for roaming.

I wasn’t expecting Aldos.

Kalei’s damage feels noticeable, but in the current meta, she’ll be a situational pick for roaming

It seems like they fixed Hilos’s mana issue, and now HP = mana, which means you don’t need the Clock of Time anymore and can go full tank without it—even though that build was super fun on him

Mie’s damage has been reduced by about 5%.

Hanabi’s ricochet damage against a single target has also been reduced

I don’t understand the nerf to LSS, but they increased the cooldown on his dash in the late game.

It seems like it’s easier for Kagura to hit with her umbrella now, but I’ve only cast it once, so we’ll have to see

Oh, and I forgot about Lucas—he didn’t really click with me, but I think we’ll see him in EXP matches sometimes, though that’s not for sure. Although, considering there are only tanks in EXP matches and he has anti-control abilities, Maybee will probably be a popular pick.

And that’s about it.

I don’t like this patch

As part of a major update for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the developers rebalanced heroes, reworked Bruno and Masha, updated the visuals for the “Sanctuary Island” map, and made other changes to the game system.
