Details regarding the format of the upcoming M8 World Championship Wildcard stage have been revealed. The details were posted on Mobile Legends’ social media accounts.

The draw will take place on December 14, the ten teams will be divided into two groups of five, after which, from December 17 to 18, they will play each other in a single-map group stage. Based on the results, the top team from each group will advance to the main stage of the M8, the next two teams in each group will advance to the Wildcard Playoffs, while the rest will be eliminated from the competition.

The playoffs will consist of a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three series and will take place from December 19 to 20. The winner will secure a spot in the M8 main stage.

The M8 World Championship Wildcard stage will take place in Thailand at ICONSIAM HALL in Bangkok. The main stage of the upcoming championship will begin in January, with the opening ceremony scheduled for the 2nd.
