CyberHero’s explainer Stepan “Maniak” Mikhailov spoke in an interview following their elimination from the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 about their preparation for their opponent and possible future roster reshuffles.
Well, overall, we were ready. We just didn’t quite have time for everything. There really wasn’t that much time, but maybe we could have prepared better—but it turned out the way it did.
We’re hoping for the best and preparing for the worst, as they say. But I hope there won’t be any reshuffles—we just need more time.
I think so. We’ll see what happens going forward. In any case, there will be more tournaments, and we’ll definitely have time to prepare for them because, again, there were roster reshuffles and we didn’t have enough time for everything—let’s put it that way. So going forward, I think we’ll only get better, because new players have joined—young players, some with no experience at all in Tier 1 tournaments. And in any case, we need to work on everything. It doesn’t happen overnight.
CyberHero lost to RAKUZAN in the quarterfinals of the upper bracket of the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 playoffs. The team finished in 5th–6th place in the tournament and earned $6,500.
