Maniak on CyberHero coach Bluffzy: “It’s comfortable working together; we’re still getting used to each other and finding our rhythm.”

CyberHero’s explainer, Stepan “Maniak” Mikhailov, discussed the team’s interaction with coach Mark “Bluffzy” Reyes in an interview with OFFSTAGE and outlined his expectations for the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8.

On the roster’s move to a different organization

It didn’t really affect the team much; the organization simply withdrew from some disciplines, including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, which is why the tag changed. Yes, you could say that the players have adapted to the new club. Some issues are resolved among the players themselves, while the organization mainly helps with all of this.

The approach to training depends more on the players and the coach themselves; the club doesn’t really have much influence over that, so to speak. It mainly provides support throughout all the processes.

About Coach Bluffzy

We currently have a foreign coach. It’s comfortable working with him; we’re still getting used to each other and finding our rhythm. He’s studying our meta, our heroes, and our hero pool, and teaching us new things. We’re developing strategies together. We communicate in English, and the team hasn’t had any difficulties with that.

I don’t think the coach will have any trouble adapting to the meta or the region, since new patches, new situations, and different teams are constantly emerging. It depends more on the players themselves than on the region. Yes, the playstyle in EECA is a bit different, but I don’t think that has much of an impact because all strategies are developed together with the coach, not by him alone.

On expectations for the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8

I expect the league to be more competitive. Our region was given three slots for the M8 World Championship, and I hope all three teams will put up a good fight.

Of all the participants, the 2026 MLBB Mid-Season Cup champion, Team Spirit, has the best chance of receiving an invitation. The rest, I think, will have to fight for it.

Earlier, Team Yandex coach Vladimir “Ospreay” Gonchar discussed the strength of the teams at the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 in an interview with OFFSTAGE: “It seems like the level of the players and rosters will be just a little lower than last season.”
