Super Egorka on Aurevia Team: “We just need to gel and understand each other”

It’s fine, nothing special. He’s just a jungler.

It wasn’t exactly hard to get used to him; he’s just a passive jungler, that’s all—I’d say—unlike zaur egoist. But overall, Marl and I used to play together, and they’re kind of similar in that regard. So everything’s fine. I play Gold; it doesn’t matter to me.

I like it, except for Melissa. I don’t know, she’s some kind of overbuffed-to-the-max hero—and also the dumbest one. Dash, “doll,” ultimate, and that’s it—if you don’t kill her, she deals a million in damage. There’s no gameplay to her at all—she’s “just a doll,” and that’s it; you just stand there from three *** [kilometers] away, basically.

I started playing Hanabi myself a long time ago; I think I’m more or less good at her. And I’ve even played Mii a lot in ranked just for fun, so I’m used to her, too. We wanted to test her, but I gave her a try and totally screwed up, so I thought, “What a waste.”

Goals? Obviously, to make it to world tournaments—that’s it. I think that’s it for now. A minimum… I don’t think there’s such a thing. For me personally, the minimum is to make it to the M8 World Championship.

Our chances are good; we just need to gel as a team. Our teamwork is exactly where we’re falling short—especially with invades. Our understanding of the game and macro play is seriously lacking. While our button mashing is still somewhat okay, our macro play is currently weaker; I’d say we’re out of shape. That’s it. That’s the problem. If we improve our macro play and our teamwork—especially Turtle’s early game—then, overall, we should be able to qualify easily. We just need to gel as a team and understand each other.
