“A Sad End to the Tournament”—Aurora Gaming Players on Their Loss at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026
The members of Aurora Gaming’s CS2 roster shared their thoughts on their personal social media pages following their loss to Team Vitality in the grand final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026.
The team’s rifler, Ali “Wicadia” Haydar Yalchin, congratulated their opponents on the victory:
We finished StarLadder in second place. Congratulations to Team Vitality on a great game.
The team’s sniper, Özgür “woxic” Eker, commented on the loss in the tournament final:
We lost to Team Vitality 1-3; they got their revenge. It was a good game—thanks for the support, and see you at the next event.
The team’s rifler, Yimi “Jimpphat” Salo, discussed Aurora Gaming’s progress and thanked the fans:
We lost in the final to Team Vitality—it was a good game. I’m proud of how the team fought back after our setback on Anubis, but overall, our opponents were stronger today. The team has shown great progress, and we hope to maintain this momentum in the future. Thank you all for your support—we’ll do better next time.
Team captain Damian “kyxsan” Stoilkovski shared his thoughts after the loss in the final:
It was a sad end to the tournament for the team. Over the last few days, the team showed great progress, but today we weren’t able to perform well either individually or as a team. Team Vitality deserved this victory—they played well. Thank you to everyone for your support; our next championship will be the ESL Pro League.
Team coach Ashley “ash” Betty summarized the team’s performance at the championship:
Second place at StarLadder. Unfortunately, the team didn’t perform at its best, while our opponents played really well. I’m very pleased with the team’s attitude throughout the tournament; next up is the Pro League.

Yesterday, Aurora Gaming lost to Team Vitality in the grand final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 with a score of 1–3 in a best-of-5 series. The French club claimed the tournament title and earned $200,000 in prize money. The event’s MVP award went to marksman Mathieu “ZywOo” Erbo.
