Natus Vincere coach Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodensky commented on the loss to Team Falcons and analyzed the key moments of the match in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026.
It was a very close game. I think we were very close to winning. The score was 11-6, but then we ran into some difficulties. I think we could have played with more confidence. And a team like Team Falcons, if you give them room to play, they play differently. I think they aren’t that strong on Anubis, and we gave them too much room to play.
They got into a state where, let’s say, they unlocked their potential. Their strength lies in individual shooting. And we let them turn that on. That was a mistake, because the moment overtime starts, that’s when they hit the hardest.
Earlier, Natus Vincere exited the IEM Cologne Major 2026 following the third stage. In the decisive match, Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodensky’s team lost to G2 Esports 1-2, finishing the tournament in 9th–11th place and earning $20,000.
